The Killers
The Killers are a rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, which was formed in 2002. Brandon Flowers (vocals, keyboard), Dave Keuning (guitar, vocals), Mark Stoermer (bass, vocals) and Ronnie Vannucci conform the line up of the band.
The name 'The Killers' came about from watching New Order's music video for 'Crystal', where New Order were a fictitious band of perfecto called 'The Killers'.
They entered in scene with the release of their debut album, Hot Fuss, that was released in 2004 and was a world selling success. Their second album, Sam's Town was released in 2006, and even though it received mixed critics from both the media and fans, it sold over a million copies. In November 2007, Sawdust, a recopilation album, was released, including new songs as well as covers and b-sides.
Their latest studio album was released in November 2008. According to Brandon, Day & Age is "their most playful album".
